About Us

The Company

None of us know what the future holds, but we are dedicated to driving the gaming community forward with new revolutionary ideas and products.

The Cerapad is the result of years worth of mixing ceramics and trying different surfaces and techniques. It’s all done by me and my brother Tim right here in our small shop in Wisconsin. We feel that what we developed is truly game changing for competitive first-person shooter titles and aim trainers. We are so proud to say that what we’re doing is our passion, that our hearts and souls are in it, and that we stand behind our work. From purchasing materials, coating the boards by hand and quality control, we’re present and have our hands in every operation – assuring you will get the experience you deserve. We will keep pushing, continue to evolve, and make our products even better over time. Gaming is more than a hobby, it’s a lifestyle and a source of income and joy for many people. We don’t take that lightly. As the gaming continues to grow, we want to make sure we produce the best products for all our fellow gamers.

Our stories

I got my start in ceramics engineering and machining. As much as I enjoyed what I was doing, nothing made me happier than when I was gaming. I got very good very quick especially when the first Call of Duty's started dropping on PC. I was hooked. So, I took a huge gamble. I was unhappy with my job, and I wanted to improve the gaming world, and I thought with my background in ceramics and machining I could do this. I went all in, left my career and started a business to mix ceramics and gaming together.

I cut my teeth on old DOS games like the original Wolfenstein. I never needed a "gaming" mouse, but Jake gave me one. I used it, and it didn't take long to fall in love with the lightweight chassis and superior tactile feedback the buttons gave. Having been 3D printing things for nearly a decade now, I knew I could still yet improve things. Thus, our lightweight mouse base idea was born. I reversed engineered a lighter weight version of that mouse's base and showed it to Jake. He loved it, and we thought others might also be interested in such a product.

Mouse pads became somewhat of an obsession for me. I was chasing that perfect glide. One day, by chance, I stumbled on a YouTube suggestion for a review of a new product called "Cerapad", so I took a chance and ordered one. I fell in love with it fast, and I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of something that could make a real difference for gamers, just like it did for me. I started getting involved with the company shortly after, eventually joining TJXeclusives' day-to-day operations as a full time member of the team.
