Aero Base – Starlight-12 Small

Then check out our Aero base mod for the Finalmouse Starlight-12 small. This lightweight base plate replaces the original base on the Starlight-12. The stock base weighs in at 7.9 grams, and the new base is 2.7 grams for a weight reduction of 5.1 grams.  In our testing this brought our mouse to 40.5 grams!

Installation is fairly easy with a #0 philips, 1.3mm hex driver, and a hobby knife. There are a total of 2 screws to remove.  Check out our install guide for a step-by-step walkthrough.

In the event that you want to remove the modification it is completely reversible. The original base can simply be reinstalled, and the mouse is back to original.  The glue from the original pcb is an optional replacement.
