Then check out our weight reduction modification for the Razer Viper Mini SE wireless gaming mouse. This base plate replaces the original base on the Viper Mini SE. The stock base weighs in at 8.7 grams, and the new base is 2.6 grams for a weight reduction of 6.1 grams. In our testing this brought our mouse to just over 40 grams!
Installation is fairly easy with a T5 torx and #00 philips screwdriver. There are 6 screws to remove. Check out our install guide for a step by step walkthrough.
In the event that you want to remove the modification it is completely reversible. The old base can simply be reinstalled and the mouse is back to original.
